DAY 01        
Arrival in Antananarivo. Meet with our representative, then transfer to your hotel.
Accommodation on bed and breakfast at the hotel.

DAY 02
ANTANANARIVO – ANDASIBE. (145km – 04hours of drive with different stops on the way).
Breakfast at the hotel, then drive eastward to Andasibe through the typical landscape of the highland and the eastern rainforest. Stop on the way to visit the Peyreras reserve where you can discover the frogs, repltiles, crocodiles. Arrival in Andasibe. Installation at your hotel. Lunch at your own.
In the afternoon, visit of the Vakona private reserve including its small island for lemurs followed by an evening walk at the Mitsinjo forest for spotting different nocturnal species as the mouse lemur, the greater dwarf lemur, the hairy eared dwarf lemur , the eastern woolly lemur, as well as endemic species of reptiles and batrachians.
Accommodation on half board basis at the hotel.

DAY 03
ANDASIBE
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning walk within the Analamazaotra reserve for spotting the Indri Indri, which is the largest living lemur. Back to the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit of Mitsinjo private reserve to discover the lepmurs, birds and reptiles.
Accommodation on half board basis at the hotel.

DAY 04
ANDASIBE – ANTANANARIVO – ANTSIRABE (315km).
Breakfast at the hotel. Then drive back to Antananarivo. Then continuation southward to Antsirabe through the typical landscape of the highland. Stop at the Antsahabe village which is a typical village of the Merina tribe. The local population on this village is living on agriculture and on making handcrafts from Raphia fiber.
Lunch at your own charge. Arrival in the afternoon. Diner in a restaurant. Accommodation on half board basis at the hotel.

DAY 05
ANTSIRABE – AMBOSITRA – RANOMAFANA ( 260km – 08hours of drive with different stops on the way).
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of the town of Antsirabe : visit of the shops of semi precious stones. Continuation to Ambositra. Ambositra is the capital of the Malagasy handcrafts and the town is mainly well known on wood carving.
Visit of shops and possibility of looking the local people carving woods.
Continuation to Ambohimahasoa after the visit which is a two hours drive from Ambositra where you’ll have the opportunity to have a local Malagasy lunch accompanied by a folkloric entertainment. (Lunch is served on a Protestant church yard which offers a panoramic view onto a valley of the Betsileo countryside).
In the afternoon ending your journey in heading to the Ranomafana National Park.

DAY 06
RANOMAFANA – MANAKARA.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit of the Ranomafana National Park in visiting its main forest where lemurs, birds, reptiles could be observed. Three species of bamboo lemurs are found in this forest (grey bamboo lemur, golden bamboo lemur and the greater bamboo lemur) as well as other lemur species as the Milen’s edwards sifaka, the common brown lemur, the red bellied lemur. With chance you might spot as well some of the biggest chameleons in the island: the Parson’s chameleon.
In the afternoon continuation of your drive in heading to Manakara.
Accommodation on half board basis for 02nights at the hotel.

DAY 07
MANAKARA
Breakfast at the hotel. Day excursion by pirogue to the Pangalanes channel which will still allow you to enjoy the beauty of the south eastern landscape. You might meet local people fishing. Picnic lunch included. Back to the hotel in the afternoon.

DAY 08
MANAKARA – SAHAMBAVY (Train journey).
After breakfast, transfer to the train station then embark on a train journey along the south-eastern area. Discovering the everyday life of the local people, stunning landscape and discovering different plantations as the coffee, fruits….
Arrival at Sahambavy by the end of the day.
Accommodation on bed and breakfast basis at the hotel.

DAY 09
SAHAMBAVY – ANTANANARIVO ( 430km – 10hours)
Early breakfast at the hotel. drive back to Antananarivo. Arrival at the end of the day after 10hours of drive. Arrival in Antananarivo. Meet and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 10
ANTANANARIVO.
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit of the Ambohimanga sacred hill which is an historical site classified among the world heritage.
In the afternoon shopping at the different handicrafts market of the capital city.
Day room at the hotel.
Late evening transfer to the airport.

 DAY 11
ANTANANARIVO – OUT
Early morning departure on AF3575 at 01h10.
